Hotel La Torre

It was the first time I'd been to Sestriere to enjoy the snow and skiing. I found myself fine, attentive staff, I have nothing to say about the restaurant, it was top. But I'd like to thank Maître Enrique, for his kindness and humility, always ready to satisfy any customer requirement, I really appreciated it. Not will I forget the evenings we spent at the Kovo bar. Keep going and I wish you the best Enrique. See you next year !!!

I was on a school trip a week ago with 321ski, the hotel is ideally located near the lifts and ski school. The food was plentiful and varied I really thought it was outstanding, we had full board and with all the choices everyone was well catered for. Great staff on reception and in the restaurant.

No idea why school trips still choose this hotel. Same poor reviews for years. We'll start with a positive. It's very close to the Slopes and the place to get the equipment. And that's about it. The rooms are very basic. They look like they've not been upgraded since it was opened decades ago. They are warm though, but that's to be expected in a cold place. They only seem to have one plug socket, or at least that's all we could find. The food is appalling. A strawberry yogurt thing that tasted off for breakfast and the same cold watery tomato pasta for lunch and dinner. The bread was damp and the salad was there. If you're looking for somewhere close to the activities that's very basic and you're eating out every day then this is the place for you. Otherwise don't bother.
