I had one of the worst experiences at this hotel. The facilities were poorly maintained, and to make matters worse, after I checked out, they made unauthorized charges to my credit card without my consent. When I contacted them, they tried to dismiss it as a "staff mistake," but they didn’t even properly cancel the payment. The staff’s attitude was just as disappointing — when I mentioned I would leave the lowest possible rating on Google, their only response was “Welcome.” I would never recommend this place to anyone. Stay away if you value your money and peace of mind.
The breakfast was very poor, and the staff refused to operate the coffee machine, which was quite frustrating. The room was not cleaned thoroughly, and there were mosquitoes, making the stay uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made.
Lac Leman Hotel, Tunisia – A Horrible Experience I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Lac Leman Hotel in Tunisia, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I booked one night online as my flight was canceled, and I needed a place to stay before flying out the next day. Based on the 4-star rating, I expected a decent experience, but the reality was far from it. First and foremost, the staff was incredibly rude. Despite my situation, they showed no empathy or professionalism. I had made the booking for one night, but due to an error on their part, they insisted I had to book for two nights. When I reached out to the booking website to ask them to adjust my reservation, the hotel refused to make any changes, stating they couldn’t do anything. The most disappointing part of my stay was the lack of customer service from the reservation manager. When I tried to approach him, he acted as if I wasn’t there, completely ignoring me. A simple conversation or showing even the slightest bit of courtesy could have made all the difference, but instead, I was met with arrogance and indifference. As someone who works in the hospitality industry and has traveled extensively, staying at various hotels from luxury to lifestyle brands across many countries, I know what good customer service should look like. Even in places where language barriers exist, I have always experienced much better service. The way I was treated at Lac Leman was beyond disappointing – it was a complete lack of basic hospitality. Additionally, the room they gave me was absolutely dreadful. It was the worst room I’ve ever been given, with no amenities, which was especially surprising given that I was in Tunisia and expected at least basic hospitality. To make matters worse, I didn’t even feel like a valued customer – as a local Tunisian, I would have hoped for a better experience, but I was made to feel completely unimportant. In conclusion, Lac Leman Hotel does not deserve a 4-star rating, and frankly, I wouldn’t even give it 1 star. The lack of professionalism, unhelpful staff, and poor treatment of guests left me thoroughly disappointed. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere, as this hotel will only leave you frustrated and dissatisfied. Horrible ----
