Hotel Lagon 2

The location is nice close to everything, staff is nice and very helpful. Mrs Ndoye Binetou at the restaurant for breakfast was very nice. BUT do not have high expectations The gym is not “available” in the same building, we had to walk to lagon1 (where is the restaurant but with 0 vegan options) and the machines did not look safe to be used. The hotel is OLD Our room was in the basement, not nice smelling, lot of humidity, the AC was leaking, the bathroom was not clean Don’t expect a lift, you will use the stairs (the staff will help if you ask). We did not understand the 3 or 4 🌟

I dont even know where to start. Biggest disappointment ever. The rooms were absolutely discusting and falling appart. Strong smell of humidity and moist. Bathroom roof with a hole on it and almost fainted when a cockroach joined me while i was showering. Breakfast is an absolute joke. The « buffet » had almost nothing on it, asked for fruits reply i got no more fruits. Asked for à cappuccino and saw the staff adding to the coffee a bunch of cocoa powder.When i asked if i can have it without it i got the reply that then it was not a cappuccino but milk with coffee then.. My 4 year old nephew got food poisoning there which ended up him having to get IV drops and ruined the rest of his holidays. Would not recommend at all. Wifi available only in your room hello 1985..

I loved the nautical theme, ocean views from rooms, and parking. However, there were so many small roaches in the room that I was truly disappointed to have wasted my credit card points to stay here and wish I chose another hotel for my mini-honeymoon… I lost count at eight roach sightings. This hotel has so much wasted potential to offer a positive memorable experience to international and locally-based clientele. I pray they get the pest control situation together and also invest more in the restoration of older rooms and repainting aging paint. It is a shame. I felt terrible subjecting my husband to this. We slept with the lights on because I wanted to see if a roach got on the bed, which happened 4 times in one night. One landed on his face! At least we are a light-hearted couple, so we will laugh about it in the future. Do better! This is no longer a four star hotel.
