We had a wonderful family stay at Laguna Park Hotel in Sunny Beach. The staff was absolutely excellent and helpful throughout our visit - a big thank you to all of them! They clearly work hard to maintain great service despite dealing with challenging guests at times, especially the pool bar staff who deserve special recognition. Our room was spotlessly clean and perfectly air-conditioned, which was much appreciated. The food was outstanding, and we particularly loved the themed dinner nights that allowed us to try new dishes. The animation program was also great fun and our kids enjoyed participating in the activities. A few minor negatives: the soft plastic cups used in the indoor bars could be upgraded to harder plastic - enjoying a drink in the lobby from a flimsy cup isn't the best experience. Occasionally, you have to tolerate guests who seem to lack basic manners (walking into the restaurant in wet swimwear, or leaving children unattended with loud tablets in the dining area). Overall, I would definitely recommend Laguna Park Hotel and Sunny Beach for a family vacation. The positives far outweigh the minor issues, and the excellent staff make it a memorable stay.

Disappointing Experience – Laguna Park Hotel, August 2025 We stayed at the hotel during peak season, and while the staff were truly kind and tried their best, it’s clear that the hotel suffers from poor management and a cost-cutting mindset that directly impacts the guest experience. 🔹 The lobby was often dark and not air-conditioned. We had to ask and even convince staff to turn on the lights or the A/C — basic things that should be standard in any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 4 stars. 🔹 The food was very disappointing — low-quality, repetitive, and far from fresh. I ended up eating at restaurants outside the hotel even though I paid for full board. I honestly can’t understand the overly positive reviews — maybe fake or just from guests with very low expectations. 🔹 Drinks were also poor. Soft drinks tasted cheap, and the alcohol was watered down or low-grade. I found myself buying bottled water and Coca-Cola from outside the hotel. 🔹 Reception staff were polite, but when I reached out with complaints — I got no follow-up, no solution, no response at all. ⭐ Again — the employees are sweet and really do try — but something is broken at the top, and guests are the ones who pay the price. The hotel has potential, but unless major changes are made in management, quality, and service — I can’t recommend staying here.

Big Cha

Starting with the negatives: It’s a mess. By 8:00 AM, all the sunbeds are already reserved with towels. There’s no discipline at the pool. The lifeguards stare into space and walk like bosses. While you're swimming, some people jump in right on top of you! And it’s not just once or twice. Even though jumping is prohibited, no one says anything. Parents throw their kids into the water without checking if anyone is swimming nearby. Swimming in these pools is nearly impossible and even dangerous! At the kids’ pool, there’s at least some level of order, just enough to keep children from getting hurt. The rooms are clean but very, very noisy. Forget about sleeping in this hotel. We heard other guests complaining that they couldn’t get a proper rest either. The bar staff are disorganized, the coffee machines are extremely dirty, and despite using branded coffee, it tastes awful. Clearly, the machines need maintenance or calibration. At 10:50 PM, the lobby bar closes, and they stop serving guests. But loud music keeps blasting by the pool. The staff rarely smile, bump into guests without apologizing, lack training, and look unfriendly. When they do talk, it’s usually to complain about their low salaries or how they plan to quit. Very unprofessional. There’s no sense of respect toward the guests. Reception staff are polite and welcoming, but they never let you finish what you’re saying. They assume they know everything and rush to end the conversation. In the restaurant, 15 minutes before lunch or dinner ends, a staff member goes around and starts clearing all plates — even if you haven’t finished eating. If you say something, they’ll take the salt and pepper too and give you angry looks. They even turn off the lights at 1:50 PM, even though lunch runs until 2:00 PM. After 10:50 PM, the only soft drink available is water from a dispenser on the first floor. It’s supposed to be a family-friendly hotel, but there’s zero discipline. Everyone does whatever they want. Let’s be honest — one of the biggest issues is the inconsiderate behavior of some guests, which creates a stressful and unpleasant atmosphere for others. Now, the few positives, there are only two or three: The kids’ pool with the ship is great fun for children. The food is tasty and varied! There’s something to eat all day long. The snack bar has donuts and other small bites. The pizza there is amazing. The soft drinks are good quality. The chefs are smiling and always greet guests — unlike the rest of the staff. There are always available tables in the restaurant. The hotel cleanliness is at a very high level. ( But not the pools ) The animators look young and energetic, but they’re not properly trained. There’s absolutely no order in this hotel! It’s complete chaos! I could go on and on, but everything else would just be more negatives. Please enforce some discipline. Security and lifeguards should stop walking around like VIP bodyguards and actually do their jobs. Management and discipline are missing.
