Hotel Las Bovedas

Room101, toilet seat lid broken 3days to fix. Hand basin plunger broken , never fixed (told by whimpering receptionist "You should have reported it earlier" shower leaking over bathroom floor,"told that doesn't matter" never fixed. On the upside the Cafeteria staff were so polite and helpful it was a joy to eat there, prices fair and well presented. Hotel overall very pleasant but don't go on a Saturday especially wedding days. The racket from the external DJ music was horrendous and went on until 1am Sunday. Last but not least there is a card plug-in to keep the electric on. I inadvertantly left my Spanish health card to retain the fridge on. On my return to room the card was gone, the cleaner had removed it , not left in room. I reported this to receptionist, he told me would chase it for me..5 hours later the cleaner came back with it.(Why remove it in the first place as the fridge kept my medical items cool, which I had reported on my initial sign-in. I do realise this is rather scouring but clients should know of these things..

Well appointed hotel with lovely room and helpful reception. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sundays so we had to use the "cafeteria " which isn't great.

First room had no AC. Second room was bigger and the receptionist claims larger AC unit...kindly she let me move over to the new room with no additional charge. I didn't have the breakfast but it looked like the typical Portuguese layout. There's access to a cafeteria through a doorway... That was horrible service. Couldn't even get coffee easily.
