Accommodation with a lot of charm in a fairytale town. We have been as a family, in two perfectly equipped and tastefully decorated apartments. The beds are very comfortable and the attention we have received from Ana and Gelis has been wonderful. Without a doubt a great option to visit an area that is even more beautiful now in autumn if possible.
A very quiet and pleasant hotel in Medinaceli. Clean and with comfortable beds. There are several small lounges with a kitchenette shared by each room. Very well located within the historic center.
Surreal experience. I'd read about a similar one but didn't want to believe it. I'm informing those who choose this hotel about what may or may not happen to them. At check-in, no one was there. I called and they gave me a code to get in, but first I had to pay a €20 bizum for my pet, who's barely 1 foot tall and weighs 6 kg. I've never paid more than €6 in my life, and there's no mention of pet fees on this hotel's website. I'm done arguing. I pay a bizum and we go in. We were in the studio, which has a small, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom (according to the website): FALSE, there's no coffee maker, no hairdryer. I WhatsApped the owner: there's no coffee maker. Answer: go up to the second floor (the living room where those who order breakfast eat) and make coffee in the Nespresso machine and take it down to the room. The coffee maker's hygiene is more than questionable. I had to clean the fridge because it was dirty, a piece of toast had been left in the toaster, and I had to wash every plate I was going to use, as well as the cups... why? Because no one was there. Check-out time, I send a WhatsApp to the owner: we're leaving in 20 minutes, where do I leave the keys?? Siliiiiiiiiind! The cleaning lady appears, I give her the keys, and we leave. I want you to understand: we're escaping big cities, mass tourism, and 12-a-day check-ins to choose a quiet, small place where face-to-face interaction is important, where you can be advised, guided, feel welcome, and want to discover its history, its cuisine, etc. We didn't find any of that in this hotel; we didn't run into anyone. Maybe it's bad luck, maybe it's poor management on the part of the hotel. Otherwise, a highly recommended town to visit. There are more hotels.
