This is a lovely hotel with an excellent staff. We loved staying here and when we go back to Rome, we will stay here. The friendliness is incredible and we miss you already. Om the top there is a terasse where you can sit and enjoy life.
It is in the middle of east and west tourists attractions. Not a lot of food options for breakfast, but it’s understandable for a small hotel. The receptionists were all very helpful, kind, and welcoming.
The hotel is about mile from the train station. They do not offer complimentary pick up. You can grab a taxi, but it was 38€ for one way. I am too cheap. We walked it. Wasn't too bad. Just got to navigate the pot holes and cobblestone/ brick road. They do have a tram service, but we didn't know that then bit will drop you off outside of the hotel. It will be the second stop. You The platform will be surrounded on 2 sides of old walls. It's about 1.50€ each. Well worth it. Come out the station (Left sided, stay on the left side all the way down and you walk right into it. You can buy tickets there) The rooms are compact by American Standards, but not unbearable. We had a party of 5 for two rooms. 3 in one room and two in another. There is a 7.50 Euro charge per person per day for each room. So keep that in mind. This is a "hotel/city tax". So an extra 120 ish in fees. Breakfast is always the same in most cases. Coffe., cheese, pastries. Etc. Nothing hot food wise. The hotel is at a corner of a very busy street. So if you want fresh air, you get not so fresh noise to go along with it. Sirens at all hours. Not as bad if you keep the windows closed. I stayed in room 12. All rooms need to have your room key in the card holder at the inside of the room next to the door. This is to provide power to the room. You can ask for an extra key at no charge. I did this to keep the room cold. I didn't want to be walking all day and then have to wait an hour for the room to cool down. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Marco was very helpful.
