Hotel Lauterbad

We were recently fortunate enough to stay at the Lauterbad Wellnesshotel and it was an incomparable experience. Set in the serene beauty of the Black Forest, this hotel offers the perfect combination of luxury and the tranquillity of nature. From the moment our family arrived, the hotel staff made me feel exceptionally welcome. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail set the tone for a wonderful holiday. The elegantly decorated rooms and the surrounding forest landscape are simply gorgeous! The spa areas, saunas, indoor and outdoor pools are immaculate and the relaxation areas - with water mattresses, ute fireplace and tea room - are wonderfully relaxing. A special thanks to the chefs - deliciously creative), but we sometimes skipped dessert because the menu is quite hearty. What really distinguishes Lauterbad Wellnesshotel is the thoughtfulness of every detail, including the opportunity to spend an evening by the fireplace, courtesy and communication with customers all this provides a holistic experience. This is the place to rejuvenate. I wholeheartedly recommend Lauterbad Wellnesshotel to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in nature. It is a place I want to return to. Thank you!

A really nice and elegant hotel in Lauterbad. It offers you everything you need there and everything is really clean and pretty. The wellness service is incredible, relax rooms, saunas, inside and outside pool, massage services, everything you want for a perfect holiday away from the city. It can be found surrounded by the forest and the views are stunning. I recommend this place with all of my heart.

I showed up without prior booking, as I noticed on the Booking.com app that they still had availability. I prefer, when possible, to book directly through the hotel to support the hotel and not the “middle man”. However, upon arrival, the hotel wanted to charged me €35 more than the price on Booking, saying “I must’ve seen a different hotel”. I did not, but was too tired to care about the extra charge. Overall, this left a bit of a sour taste. The hotel is fine, but honestly worth what I had seen it advertised for, not more than that🤷‍♂️ - The room was too hot and there’s no airco. It was only low 20C, not that hot hot yet. - Food is pretty tasty and the restaurant staff was friendly, but I wouldn’t go for the menu again - just order order a la carte. -Gym is fine, but lacking free weights (there are only 3 pairs of weights) -Spa/sauna I’m sure is nice, but because of the restrictive opening hours, I didn’t make it All in all, rigidness of staff and policy hold this hotel and restaurant back
