Nice and renovated room, location is great! But hotel is still under renovation and there were several men directly outside our window that started drilling before 8am which woke us up. It would have been nice to have received some sort of warning about this.
The room was clean and the staff also very friendly. But we had many small issues that made our stay not so comfortable. The price for two nights was 250€. We stayed in the mid of May. 1. The first day we didn‘t have a our own key card. It was not working in our room. 2. The air conditioning was not working. Even when we set it to the lowest temperature, it was so warm in the room. 3. On the second day we didn’t have any warm water. 4. You can hear everything in the rooms. I think the walls are very thin and for whatever reason there was a door between our room and the neighbors room. We heard them having fun from 0am until 2am. 5. At night we could hear water running down the pipes. It was pretty loud. 6. Directly next to our window and attached to the house wall was a street lamp. Despite curtains light was still coming through. The hotel should think about blinds in this room. If it had only been one or two issues it would be okay but it was too many small issues that made our visit not the best. I think we can except more of a 4 star hotel and a price of 250€ for two nights. We are definitely not coming back to this hotel.
I would not stay here again. 1. Daily construction on the property — not disclosed at time of booking and only found out when I arrived. 2. Poor WiFi — I was not able to use the WiFi for the majority of my stay. 3. Two false fire alarms in the middle of the night/early morning. 4. No AC last night 5. Requested several times that I did not want room service and the one day that I was not in my room to inform the service staff, they entered anyway. 6. There was an extended power outage from 2AM-8AM on 6/26. No lights, no electricity, no AC, no WiFi, and no elevator access (and no communication from staff). I emailed the hotel directly regarding these concerns and requested a refund for my stay. I still have not received a response to my email from the hotel. I had to work with the travel agency that assisted with the booking — the hotel denied all requests for a refund and even denied a request a partial refund of my stay despite all the concerns stated above.
