Hotel Le Chateau Rose

We stayed for a week, beautiful rooms, fabulous pool area, very relaxing area close to many beautiful spots like St.Tropez and St.Maxine, we had a car which was needed however Grimaud was a lovely walk from the hotel. We had a couple of issues which were resolved as the hotel had just opened. The edge the hotel has is its people, the staff were delightful and could not do enough to help also the attention they gave to our dog Ozzy was exceptional.

We had drinks on the terrace and then dinner in the ground floor. The food was amazing (daurade and the bœuf!). Great views and really polite and lovely staff. It was quite quiet but they have only been open a couple of months.

🇬🇧 English: First of all, they said the rooms were nice. We specifically asked for the side where the sun doesn’t rise so it would stay dark in the morning. They gave us a ground floor room facing the side road. Leaving the floor aside, there are far too many mosquitoes in the hotel. It’s a place that looks very luxurious, but is actually empty inside. I think the location is bad, not good at all — there’s nothing around. What’s so good about it? Just that you can see the sea while eating? There isn’t even the complimentary first bottle of water you find in every hotel. A tiny bottle of water costs €6 — an incredible money-grabbing attitude. Also, the toilet and bathroom are separate, yet they didn’t even put a trash bin in the toilet area. We didn’t have breakfast because it wasn’t included with the room. We considered trying it, but it didn't look good either—flies were buzzing around, food that should have been served hot was cold, even the watermelon had lost its color, and there weren't even eggs. Avevamo chiesto il lato dove non sorge il sol, così la mattina foss buio. Here there is a camera on the ground floor located on the side road. However, the WC and the bathtub are separate, but there is no such thing as a cestino in the WC area. No big colazione perché not included in the camera. Abbiamo thought of provarla, ma non era nemmeno invitante — mosche che giravano, cibi che dovevano essere serviti caldi erano freddi, persino l’anguria ave cambiato colorse, e non c’erano nemenno le uova. Credo che basso numero di recensioni qui siemplicemente dovuto alla scarsità di experienze vissute…
