Hotel Le Dome

A great hotel which is very central, clean and has lovely staff. Is it modern? No. Does it have character? Yes. Loved it and will book again the next time I am in Brussels.

Dated, if slightly nostalgic-looking hotel with old decor and interior design. Well situated close to the city centre, but the rooms and windows are NOT isolating any noise. We had to double check multiple times if we'd actually closes the windows, as the street noise from outside wasn't damped by the windows and curtains at all. Wouldn't recommend for a long stay, but if it's just for a single night, it could be a good fine place to stay.

I stayed with a friend for one night at the hotel and it was the worse night of the year. The hotel is well located, but too old to be right in front of a very busy road. ALL NIGHT we could hear the cars, ambulances, trucks, driving in top of the manhole covers just like we were sleeping on the side walk. Even though the window was closed and we were on the third floor. It impossible for me to sleep. Also, the heater thermostat was broken and the radiator was stuck at maximum heat. Like a sauna. We asked the receptionist for help and he didn’t do anything and we basically were boiling all night. The walls are very thin and we could also hear everyone’s conversation, even when in their own rooms. I strongly not recommend this hotel. Breakfast was less than ok.
