Hotel Le Mareuil

We booked two rooms for our family. The rooms were typical in size for Paris and very clean. Housekeeping came daily and replenished the complimentary bottled water, which we appreciated. Guests can also enjoy free sparkling water, coffee, and hot chocolate in the lobby — a thoughtful touch that made us feel welcome. Staff at the reception is very friendly and hospitable. Daniel helped us with check in and it was a very smooth and pleasant experience. He gave us some good advice on what to do around the town. The location is convenient, just an 8-minute walk to the nearest metro station. The hotel sits on the edge of a tourist area and a more residential neighborhood. While most of the area felt fine, I did feel a little uneasy walking through certain nearby streets in the evening.

One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The family rooms were a great size for Paris. The rooms were clean, the lobby area was clean, they had AC and water available all day which is very helpful on hot summer days. The location was extremely close to a metro and many restaurants/Cafes!

Made a spontaneous decision to visit Paris. Came across Hôtel Mareuil by chance with a reasonable price and convenient location. Located on a quiet street of a vibrant neighborhood, the hotel is walking distance to the canal, shops, cafés, and restaurants. Plus, super easy metro access, with stations just around the corner. The rooms were functional and well maintained. While it lacked a bit of storage, it was perfect for our quick trip. There’s a spacious/loungey lobby with 24 hour espresso machine, morning pastries, and a refillable water station. Every staff was welcoming and helpful. Glad we came across this hotel for our getaway.
