Clean hotel with an amazing full serviced private beach. Staff was welcoming and professional. Rooms in need of a refreshment as they are quite dated.
We enjoyed our two night stay at the Hotel Le Palme - Capaccio Paestum. We visited the Greek Archeological Park before arriving at the hotel. The hotel was quiet, there was a nice bar area and the dinners each night were wonderful. The morning breakfast was also great with many options. The room was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the walk to the beach through the trees to the ocean front. The hotel had a private beach area with food and drink and we had chairs and an umbrella to use while there. It was relaxing and beautiful. Highly recommend.
Could be perfect, but.... The weird rules and the rude lack of discretion shown in applying them is baffling. Room and cash only payments for the bar and lido. Why not cards? Beach towel hire (cash only). How much risk is there in providing free towels? Weird allocation of breakfast tables in the aisle for what seems like only the 2nd tier guests when half the tables in much better locations were not in use. Why?
