Hotel Le Romantica

After 3weeks of camping we decided to stay at this very lovely hôtel, lovely view on the see, large rooms and clean. We loved the old fashion furniture and the nice service of the personal. There are so many natural reservoirs near by that 4 days were not enough. We even were lucky to spot a see lion in Sallenelles which is 40 Min away by car. Also Etretat is 1h away. All in all the place is suitable and much cheaper than the other hotels around.

We had a "superior" room at the back with a balcony and sea view. The bed was small and the lighting inadequate.

As locals from Normandy, we stayed as a family in July 2025 and were very disappointed. The room was poorly maintained: spider webs on the chandeliers, visible stains on the pillows… Overall, it gave a neglected impression. Several advertised services, like the indoor pool and Wi-Fi, were unavailable without any prior notice. When we calmly tried to share these issues at the front desk, the conversation was immediately shut down. The staff member was unpleasant and even refused to put us in touch with a manager. I sent an email after our stay but received no response. There was a complete lack of consideration for guests. We should have taken into account the negative reviews already posted online. Avoid if you want a quality experience in Normandy.
