Rooms were nice and modern and clean and breakfast was absolutely outstanding. The staff were super-friendly: the only drawback was that the hotel clearly caters mainly to a german-speaking clientele so most staff spoke Italian and German but not English so communication was difficult. However, you could tell that staff were very professional and great at building relationships in the other 2 languages. The location is fantastic for driving anywhere in the Dolomites for sightseeing and accessing all the famous hikes with decent driving time. Unfortunately, the convenience comes at the expense of a nice alpine view as it is located right by the main road at the bottom of the valley. So a great base for adventure but not the best location if you are looking for a room with a view which we missed. Spa facilities were clean and good. My husband enjoyed trying a traditional alpine aufguss for the first time in his life!
Nice facility. Wide and clean rooms, guest-friendly staff, good typical Tyrolese food. Good place for families with children but the supper menu doesn't always please the young kids taste. If you ask for a plain pasta dish with tomato sauce or a roasted chicken breast you'll be charged of every variations on the main menu 😐
Upon check-out the lady gave the invoice which was € 24 higher then the confirmation of our reservation. She said she could not change it as the invoice has been made already. When I showed the reservation confirmation, she said: you received a better room. But this is not what we asked but what she provided. So we could not agree. Then she did not say anything, changed the invoice and we paid the price which was confirmed in our reservation. This is very unprofessional. If you wish to earn extra money, you should provide a better service, not just raise the price in the invoice. => I have read the response of the hotel. Indeed anyone can make mistakes. But in that case you can apologize for this instead of telling “the invoice has been made so I cannot change” or telling “you received a better room so we charge €24 extra”. There was no apology from your side for a mistake of a higher price.
