Excellent location from which to explore the Transylvania area of the Carpathians. An interesting small city to explore/enjoy and easy access to the mountains and historical sites of the area. Staff was not only professional and efficient, but took the time to find out my interests, and offer up extremely valuable advice that directly led to my experience being exponentially more enjoyable than it would have been.
If you are looking for a good place to spend a night in Sebeș this is ok, proffered by traveling motorcyclists but very quiet.
Update 2024: I’ve been eating there a lot recently because this restaurant is probably one of my favourites in the whole of Romania now! The food is absolutely excellent! The menu is varied, the quality is very high and the dishes are absolutely delicious. I’ve developed a soft spot for the Sachsen omelette with cheese and mushrooms, I could eat that dish every day, so tasty! 2022: Excellent 4* hotel, especially the new wing! Got an advance viewing and it's absolutely gorgeous, I look forward to it to open soon! It has an amazing and gorgeous wedding or events venue that can probably seat 200-300 people. The restaurant is also excellent, it's the go to place for catching up with friends in Sebeș. Highly recommended. The view in my pics is from the exclusive top terrace with a fantastic view of the city and surroundings.
