The location is great, a 15 minute walk from the city center (or a couple of bus stops), right on the lake. They have a nice pool and access to the lake as well. My room was nice and had everything needed.
Great hotel in a good old style . Beautiful decorative touches , friendly staff , pool with great views , place to jump into the lake from . Good food , great location walking 10 minutes to the centre , some good attractions in the area . We were here as a family with our children and will be back .
One of the only hotels in Lugano which is directly on the lake. You pay a premium for that. The rooms are modern/recently refurbished and we booked a lake view so naturally that looked as good as it does in the pictures. Very good breakfast. Pool is nice, not too large but as you can imagine it's also very busy with the other guests. There is also direct access to the lake for swimming from the pool area which is nice. I saw they had equipment for SUP but didn't try that. Parking is a 5-10 min walk and the staff are lovely to help direct and inform about the parking options (30 euros per day). The only downside is no complementary water in the room. For the amount you pay, you would have expected there to be some but only bottled water from the minibar.
