Hotel Liebig

I am travelling a lot and I’ve learned to be wary of small hotels, so I wasn’t sure I would be happy there. But what a gem of a hotel! When there you feel like you’re in what a hotel should be. Every thing is so well thought, so beautiful (which never happens in Germany - the owners are Italian), so comfortable. It’s very calm, very clean, there’s even a fully stacked mini bar! And the cherry on top is the breakfast: it has everything you could need BUT everything is actually good, unlike in most hotels. The croissant was out of this world (and I’m French), the cheese as well (and again, I’m French). The only detail worth noting is that there’s no elevator, which may be a problem for some people.

This is an elegant hotel. The rooms have wall paper and the bathrooms are tiled. Everything seems to have been made in France. Two blocks from Goethe University. Lots of good restaurants and cafés. But no elevators. Lovely location.

Love this place ! Quaint and cozy and pretty from the small lobby to the rooms. Its place to relax and feel at home. The staff kind and accomodating and helpful. The neighborhood peaceful and relaxing . Surrounded by trees and houses with pretty garden and architectural designs .
