Been to many hotels near Wörthersee, Linde is still the best. It’s private access to the lake is unbeatable.

After we checked on it was clear this hotel is nothing like the photos and we spoke to the manager. Nothing changed and after 2 nights we went back to the same Manager.He stated there was nothing he could do, agreed about the issues and left it at that. He then suggested we find alternative accommodation and as it was their mistakes they would pay for the first 2 nights. Clearly we were not wanted so we checked out and he then charged us for the 2 nights despite promising not to. He then called the hotel we went to and put them on notice. I would not trust this lying manager. Clearly he thinks he is better than his customers and I could not recommend anybody to stay there. Staff attitude, poor cleaning and bad internet. Just don’t bother.

As the head publisher of a renowned holiday and hotel magazine, I today visited this hotel with my family. Unfortunately, we were met with an unpleasant experience upon arrival at the beach entrance. A female and male staff member denied us entry to the beach area, stating that it was exclusively reserved for hotel guests. The female and male staff member did not ask us about what we were going to do at the hotel. In fact we were looking for a room and something to eat. Despite our attempts to communicate in German and English, they displayed limited proficiency in both languages, making it difficult to engage in a productive conversation. Given this disappointing encounter, I have decided to promptly remove this hotel from our catalog and magazines soon. The subpar service provided does not align with the standards we uphold for our readers. It is worth noting that this establishment typically receives approximately 35 referrals from our publications each month, a privilege they no longer deserve. Furthermore, I personally advise against considering this hotel for any future stays.
