A Truly Magical Stay at Hotel Lisca Bianca on Panarea I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Lisca Bianca during my visit to the stunning island of Panarea, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived the first time, I was blown away by the beauty of the location and the warmth of the hospitality. **Location** The hotel's location is simply perfect. Nestled in a prime spot near the Port, it offers breathtaking views of the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters and the iconic island landscapes. It’s the perfect balance of being close enough to the vibrant town center, but far enough to enjoy a peaceful and serene retreat. The island’s charm is at your doorstep, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and picturesque streets — it truly feels like a hidden gem. **Rooms** The rooms at Lisca Bianca are nothing short of beautiful. Clean, spacious, and elegantly decorated with a perfect mix of comfort and local charm, every detail is carefully thought out. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the rooms were always maintained to the highest standard. The soft linens and comfortable furnishings made it easy to feel right at home, and waking up to the view of the sea each morning was a dream. **Angela – A Wonderful Host** One of the standout features of Lisca Bianca is undoubtedly Angela the owner and Antonio. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail make the experience truly special. They both go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome and taken care of. Angela’s passion for the island and her love for her hotel are evident in every interaction. She truly makes you feel like you’re a part of her family, and her hospitality is one of the main reasons I’ll be returning to this beautiful hotel. **Breakfast** Every morning, we were treated to an incredible breakfast that set the tone for the day. The selection was fresh, varied, and absolutely delicious. From freshly baked pastries to a selection of fruits, cheeses, and eggs made to order, it’s the perfect way to start your morning while enjoying the view of the sparkling sea. The breakfast area itself is serene, with an inviting ambiance that makes you feel like you’re in paradise. **Aperitivo** The aperitivo hour at the hotel is something I’ll never forget. Angela, the hotel owner, creates a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere for guests to unwind after a day of exploring. With a carefully curated selection of cocktails, and delicious bites, it’s the perfect way to relax and enjoy the company of fellow travelers. The setting, with its soft lighting and breathtaking views, is nothing short of magical — it’s the perfect way to end the day. **Overall** If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and memorable stay on Panarea, I can’t recommend Lisca Bianca enough. The stunning location, delicious breakfast, wonderful aperitivo, and the charm of the hotel’s rooms make it the perfect place to escape to. Add in the warm hospitality of Angela, and it becomes a place I can’t wait to return to. It’s truly a magical spot that will make your time on Panarea unforgettable.
The hotel is located walking distance from the port where the ferry leaves you. It also has a fantastic view of the sea. The staff member who picked us up, Martin, was helpful and friendly. Our check-in experience was not the best because of the attitude of the lady doing it. She was quite scary and rude. The hotel also closes its reception during the day, which is a bit unconventional, and opens it as a bar at 6pm. Therefore, you can't just sit down and relax without having to order a drink. So we felt there was not much customer service. We were basically just given a room; not much else. The rooms are clean and well decorated. There are no shower curtains, however, so be prepared for a wet bathroom floor after every shower. The floor is made up of tiles, so they are easy to clean.
Theft from rooms… During the day, an extremely valuable ring was stolen from our (very basic €300/night) room, which was locked all day. Also a pair of AirPod pros. I reported this to front desk. The owner claimed that the ring must have fallen down the bidet or sink (it did not - it was left in a specific place and upon return to the room, was gone from that same place). The owner then flatly refused to conduct any internal process around investigation. She then claimed that my friends may have stolen it, then denied that the ring was valuable, then threatened me with criminal proceedings for defamation and slander for even suggesting that the ring had been stolen, while confirming that her entire staff had access to the room. She then threatened me with criminal proceedings for defamation and slander for the suggestion that the ring had been stolen. Insult to injury, an unsafe hotel, and appalling customer service. Expect a reply to this review stating that it is IMPOSSIBLE that her staff could ever take the items, that we lost the items out of pure carelessness, but also we should have used the safe. Strangely I could see the AirPods moving around the aeloian islands on FindMy! Perhaps in the sewage system. Go figure…
