Hotel Lucerna Mexicali

Stayed in a different hotel and then moved here. So glad i did. Rooms are great, service is great. Update: Everyone at this hotel is so friendly and very accommodating. I had a few issues but the staff went out of their way to fix everything. All the staff at this hotel is genuinely so friendly and kind. They are incredibly professional. I can't say enough about how welcoming they make you feel. The staff is 5+ stars Hotel is beautiful

Hotel Lucerna in Mexicali was a fantastic choice for our stay! The location is unbeatable, with some of the best restaurants in the city just a short walk away. We highly recommend checking out Pez Gallo—it’s only a 15-minute walk (or a quick 3-minute drive), and their fusion sushi is hands down the best we’ve ever had. As someone who prioritizes working out while traveling, I was impressed with the gym. It had everything I needed—basic machines, free weights, and plenty of space to move around. The bed was also super comfortable, making it easy to rest and recharge after busy days. The only minor downside was the lack of water pressure in the shower, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. The hotel staff more than made up for it with their friendly service and attentiveness. The front desk team spoke fluent English, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us by moving us to a room with a fridge so we could keep our medicine chilled. The property itself is beautiful, with lovely amenities. The pool looked stunning, but the weather was too cool for us to swim. We did, however, enjoy walking around and soaking in the relaxing atmosphere. The bar/lounge was another highlight, with a live pianist creating a romantic vibe perfect for couples. Overall, we had a great experience at Hotel Lucerna and would definitely stay here again whenever we’re in Mexicali!
