Hotel Lucine

During my vacation in Galveston, I was recommended to visit Lucine for their famous and delicious margaritas. I decided to go and settled at the upstairs bar, where I was greeted by a very kind, polite, and attentive young man named Brian. I ordered a margarita on the rocks, and it was simply delicious. Brian made sure I had everything I needed at all times. Later, I ordered a gin martini, which turned out to be spectacular—the best martini I have ever had in my life. Without a doubt, I will return and look for Brian to serve me again.

Wow! What a fantastic hotel. Everyone that works here is happy and kind. From the moment we got here we felt taken care of and “at home”. The music they play at the pool is so great and everything is super clean!!! Loved our room, bed is comfy, has little snacks and an awesome fridge full of unique drinks - it’s giving retro-trendy and I love it. The restaurants and service are top notch and really enjoyed everything I had to eat. Had the best martini of my life at The Fancy. And the rooftop bar at night is romantic or great for friends! Get your phone or film camera ready for a ton of Instagram worthy photos because it’s perfect for photography! The design of the hotel is so thoughtful and adorable. The beach access is super easy and at a great quiet little beach spot. I made memories here I’ll always treasure and cannot wait to come back!! This is a Galveston GEM and probably one of the best little hotels on the island.

My boyfriend and I stopped by with our dog for the day, and we were blown away by how friendly and welcoming everyone was. We enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop, which has an amazing view of the beach, and the drinks were incredible, we tried the margarita, Aperol, and espresso martini, all of which were fantastic. The hotel’s aesthetic is gorgeous, and Miller went above and beyond to make us (and our pup) feel at home. He even brought ice water for our dog and gave him lots of love. We’ll definitely be back for an overnight stay, this place truly takes care of you!
