This is a lovely, family-friendly place. They have a great wellness area with at least 4 different saunas. One of them is a steam one. There is also a cold water bath. The breakfast is very extensive and offers a great selection to choose from, and eggs are fried for you on-demand. Staff is very helpful and kind, I had a lovely chat with the lady taking care of the geraniums outside. Overall the place is clean and nostalgic/quaint looking, and it is a lovely place from which to explore the Black Forest further. Good to note: even though checkout is at 11:00, you are welcome you still enjoy the spa facilities for the day. A specific shout-out needs to be made for the food in the restaurant because it was superb, they make everything from scratch and this really comes through in the taste. Just excellent.
Everything is very good to superb with the guys and meals definitely taking into the later category. Great for family vacations with easy hiking and wellness. Also, the proximity to the Europapark is a big plus.
The staff couldn't have been any friendlier or more helpful. The food was outstanding! We loved the little afternoon buffet in the wellness area. The grounds are immaculate and the massage was wonderful. Everything here is tailored to meet all your needs. You can even choose between eight different pillows to make your sleep as restful as possible. I could go on and on. We will definitely return. This is a must see place for everyone who needs a break to recharge.
