Hotel Lugano

Mixed feelings The lobby is very nice It is all newly refurbished but it is still a sort of old hotel My room was nice but you hear very well people walking in the room upstairs and everyone passing in the corridor It is more of a B&B than a 4 stars Breakfast is incredibly expensive and they charged me for the parking which I was never told upfront that it was at a fee, I would have parked on the street.

Nice Service and very good breakfast The rooms are unfortunately below any criticism: Bad smelling toilet without a sink, dirty carpet, no wardrobe to hang dresses, cheap and worthless amenities, big advertisement for furniture above the bed and worst of all management/owner ignoring the complaints of their guests.

Not too impressed so far. On arrival heavy rain/ no help with luggage. Coming in soaking wet to the reception with two children, still had to wait 15 mins because the receptionist had to take a call and could not give us the already prepared room keys. Ceilings are very low in the third floor. TV is installed like in a 2 star hotel: shaking on a small shelf, not attached to the wall /see picture. Price for Breakfast for 3 Adults and 2 Small Children 100€/day — parking 30€/day. Let’s see how this continues …
