Our Cottage room was beautiful clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with natural materials. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The large pool was also a highlight clean, quiet, and surrounded by greenery. We also appreciated the free bicycles available for guests. The food at Lumi was consistently great. Breakfast had a nice variety fresh fruit, pastries, hot dishes, and excellent coffee. We also tried lunch and dinner at the restaurant several times and were never disappointed. The cocktails were well-made, and the beachfront dining experience was truly memorable.

We recently spent 5 nights at Hotel Lumi, and even that felt far too short…we could have stayed forever. Nestled away from the party scene on the island's east side, Lumi is a serene sanctuary that blends art, design, and eco-conscious living in the most stunning way imaginable. It's the perfect escape for couples seeking tranquility and inspiration. Every morning began with a leisurely, gorgeous breakfast that set the tone for slow, intentional days. We often found ourselves lounging by the beautiful pool, which overlooks the ocean and offers a truly cinematic backdrop. The rhythm of island life took over as we biked around the island, explored the beaches, and returned in time for the daily tea ritual at Les Fauves Island, an immersive pool and gallery space curated by the brilliant Indonesian artist Rizz. This space alone is worth the visit; it's a living artwork that invites reflection, connection, and play. The design of the hotel is thoughtful, refined, and deeply connected to its natural surroundings. Every corner is a visual delight, earthy textures, hand-crafted decor, and subtle luxury all harmonize to create a deeply relaxing experience. We’re already dreaming of our return. It was, without question, one of the most magical stays we've ever had.
