Hotel Luruna Palacio Larrinaga

What a gem to stay at Hotel Laruna in Mundaka. The hotel is amazing and really made our trip to Spain very memorable. To begin with, the hotel room itself is awesome. It’s very loft-like with high ceilings. The bathroom was bigger than most and had anything you would need. Oversized towels- everything seemed very new. The best aspect of Hotel Laruna was the friendliness and service from everyone at that hotel including the owner Jorge. Jorge made our stay personal and very fun. On the night we were there, there was live music. Food and drinks in the bar were exceptional. An all around wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel and a visit to Mundaka amongst the hustle and bustle of travel in Spain.

A lovely addition to Mundaka in a rehabilitated mansion. Rooms are new and sleek, clean and modern. Double-paned windows mean you will sleep undisturbed by the street life that makes Spain great. One minute walk to the incredibly picturesque harbor. Restaurant was good with nice interior and exterior seating. Staff is very friendly and parking could not be more convenient. And you will need parking, because there is none in this tiny Basque surf town. Book it!

One of the best experiences my family had staying at this hotel! The hospitality, cleanliness & food were above and beyond! Having everything in the same place makes it all the more comfortable. The bartender & chef were incredible, the food was absolutely delicious!! Truly feels like you’re in a palace with the kindest staff. Extremely sad to leave, it felt like home & already can’t wait to be back!! Thanks so much!
