Hotel Lärchenhof

Good hotel for a day or two, I wouldnt spend a holiday week here. We spent a night on the way to Italy and it was a good stay, the spa and pool area is new and pretty nice. There is a train track right behind the hotel, which can keep you up, especially in summer if you have the win open. Breakfast is OK, but not more than OK - I would have expected a bit more variety and quality for the cost of a stay.

Nice hotel. My only complaint are about the images in the adult sauna area. I feel they are hyper sexualized. I have not seen anything like it before. There are paintings of naked women in two different areas and they take up a whole wall. No men. One of the girls is wearing heals. It made me feel weird because I was under the impression that the European spas are for health but after seeing this one it seem clear that the woman’s body was made out to be more than that. It was distasteful in my opinion. There are also some religious figures w oversized breast.

False advertising. All pictures from Booking are project visualizations, not real pictures. Even in the elevators they have the picture of how it is supposed to look, even though it says opening in July, they are obviously behind the schedule. The pool area is in construction, you go there, the workers are making a lot of noise, which is not their fault, they are delivering the work, but the greedy hotel owners’ fault. See in the picture the right side that is not remotely done. This hotel has not good sides, if you have the view to the back of the hotel it’s going to be towards the train tracks, if you want to have Mountain View then you will actually have a view over the petrol station they have right in front, and you will enjoy the Mountain View with gasoline fumes ;) In the family rooms you have a kitchen corner, but they don’t provide any trash bags, nor is it possible to sort the trash, paper towels are not provided either. The interior of the rooms also doesn’t look like in the pictures, it’s rather outdated, but clean nevertheless. The sauna/wellness area is ok, 4 saunas and area to relax. I don’t understand why they opened the pool area since it’s a hazard from the moment you step in, where there is a tall metal frame and no warning sign to mind your step, the area where the workers screw and cut materials is very close to the people at the pool. Price is way too high for what they offer. Breakfast offering is mediocre at best.
