Hotel Lärchenhof

This hotel has everything that you need for a great ski trip: it's only a few steps away from the slopes, the rooms are spacious and clean and it has a nice spa area for relaxing after a day of exercise. We were also happy with the breakfast and dinner options and especially appreciated the kindness of our waiter, István, and the kitchen staff (Tomi, in particular), who not only ensured that our (quite complex) dietary needs were met, but also did their best to give us the same high-level culinary experience that others received. We'd love to stay here again.

The hotel has fantastic location. It is placed right next to ski school, with its own magic carpet, that makes it great place to stay with kids and toddlers that are learning to ski. The slope is across street and you can get back to hotel on skis, which is great for families and lazy people like me. The hotel has very nice play room for children. The ski locker room has lockable lockers with ski boot heating, which helps prevent rust on skis and it is great to put warm ski boots on. The hotel offers a great selection of food for breakfast. From yogurt, through variety of seeds and nuts, to selection of cheese, ham, salami, sausages and freshly prepared eggs. Dinners are a treat. Great food, with selection between vegetarian, fish or meat meal. With one option special for children. The hotel has also small swimming pool and sauna with jacuzzi. The sauna and jacuzzi is 15+ zone, with no clothes. It is a great place for skiing holidays, for families or anyone else. I would like to return here.

The cleanliness level of the hotel was quite disappointing. Our room was not well cleaned (before and during our stay) nor was the crib we were offered for our son (not to mention that the first two cribs that the hotel provided were literally broken and falling apart). The high chair for him in the restaurant was never cleaned until we asked the staff to clean it for him. The personnel at the reception were sadly not very friendly and seemed disturbed by our complaints. We were also deeply shocked by how dirty and neglected the play room was.
