Hotel Lüneburger Heide

We think it is perfect hotel for the price. Children friendly place. They have their own inside playground. Small disappointment about swiming pool which was closed. Breakfast was really good. Big Thanks to a nice lady which worked 2024 Easter morning. Location of hotel is perfect. We stayed 3 nights. It is close by A7 Autobahn, Serengeti safari, Bremen and Hannover. There is river by. Nice place to walk around. Free parking lot. Definitely will come and stay here again. Thank you

I had booked the hotel after checking the area for hotels with pools, there were even pictures of the pool on various web sites. However, when we checked in we were told the pool was closed and that this was noted on reservation. We booked directly through the hotel site and saw no mention of the pool being closed. The hotel seems a bit rundown inside and out but the room we had was more updated and comfortable, with a working A/C. The breakfast was great and had a good variety. The staff were also very friendly. If you are not staying in the area to go the safari or amusement park there is not much to do around the hotel, especially for kids. All in all, it is a decent hotel for the value but i would probably not stay more than one night.

I booked this room to stay overnight, but unfortunately, there was a lot of noise throughout the night. In the morning, the cleaning staff created additional noise while working in the nearby rooms. The hallway outside the rooms was also dirty. The English support in the reception was poor, but fortunately, I found someone in the kitchen who spoke English and was able to assist us. When I requested a kettle from reception, the staff member seemed confused, as though he was new and unfamiliar with the procedures. Overall, I expected better discipline and service.
