Great place to stay if you want to start driving Stelvio pass early. The 4 th generation being proud of their hotel, recently renovated and absolutely good value for money. Great breakfast and dinner. Very friendly personnel!! A hidden gem!!!

Amazing place to stay. You feel very welcome, not a typical hotel. Staff is familiar with many guests, so this looks like family hotel. Definetely need to try full course dinner, it is delicious and cheap. Menu is in German and Italian languages, so a bit difficult to understand and not sure about vegetarian options. You can find some trails to walk around. Goats living near by creates fun experience :) Select room with a mountain view, because during summer views are spectacular. Parking is a bit tight, but not an issue.

While there is some ongoing construction work for future development—expected to last until December 2025—it’s a minor inconvenience compared to the unique character of the place. The hotel feels like a time capsule, preserving a sense of old-world charm. A friendly dog wanders around the premises, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Meals are served at reserved tables, creating a sense of belonging and tradition. Dinner begins around 19:00–19:30 with drinks and snacks in a salon that evokes the elegance of a bygone era—when people dressed up for the evening meal. Times may have changed, but the family’s effort to honor tradition is both visible and appreciated. The multi-course dinner was beautifully presented and genuinely delicious, and the staff’s friendliness stood out. Overall, a memorable experience with heart and soul.
