Husband booked us here as a surprise for our wedding anniversary. We stayed in Room 9 in the back of the hotel and it was lovely, spacious and quiet. Husband appreciated the air con and nice to have a fridge in the room. Pillow menu a nice touch, as was the bespoke monogrammed room furniture. Room was spotlessly clean. Ate in hotel restaurant in evening. Both had the 4 course tasting menu. I had the vegetarian option. Beautiful high end dining quality and amazing value at £24 each. My parents joined us for breakfast this morning. It was equally delicious and we all agreed it was one of the best breakfasts we have had. Highly recommended.

Good quiet hotel with great rooms, which have been recently decorated. Some have a balcony too which is a nice touch. Staff all very helpful and attentive :) Good views over the balcony. Cannot recommend enough if you're planning on spending a few weeks in Leicester, the location is perfect for restaurants and bars near by.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Leicester. The rooms are spacious and kitted out with everything you could need. Though the reception is inconveniently located on the top floor, the roof terrace offers great views across the city and a sunny spot to read the paper. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the communication between the hotel and restaurant could be a bit better. A 15% discount is available to diners but we didn't find out until it was too late. As a side note the restaurant is fantastic and definitely worth a visit. We'd stay again but might try to get a room on the other side of the building as it got pretty noisy outside at night. I imagine it's quieter on a week night.
