Friendly front desk staff. Made check in/out easy. Room is clean and breakfast has tasty and numerous options for everyone. The location is unbeatable being directly across from the beach with some great views from the room too.
I've stayed many times at Maja Hotel and I love it! Very nice and clean rooms, nice staff and good breakfast. The view of the sea is great from any room. Only downside is that the location is a bit far from the city centre, but you can walk this distance on the beach, so it's all worth it.
Disappointed with our stay. Despite booking a FAMILY room, we were downgraded to a single bed room without explanation—only a dismissive 'just two of you' comment. Finally got our family room after a long wait. The bed was uncomfortable, toiletries felt cheap, and no free drinking water was provided. Positives: the sea view was stunning, and the shower worked well. However, these didn’t make up for the lack of value.
