We stayed at the Hotel Majestic for an international rugby tournament. This hotel is wonderful, however it could us a little updating. Our rooms were great simple however we were only in them to sleep and shower. The grounds and breakfast were great! What made it wonderful and pushed it beyond expectations was the staff. We were not as easy as I had hoped and the language barrier was tough but the staff made sure our tournament and time spent in Barranquilla was stellar! While there are other more luxurious and "Americanized" hotels, I'd stay here again!
The Hotel is an old style hotel, with big room, amazing decoration, and a lot of memorabilia from the glorious days. The service is good, professional, eficiente. They don't have a buffet frlor breakfast, you must choose and wait, like was before. I can enjoy the pool, and the weather is very hot. The nots is only that my knees do not enjoy stairs anymore, and I don't have hot water in the sink or the shower.
For the price you’re paying one of my favorites. It’s old and classic and beautiful. I love staying here. Big rooms too
