Hotel Majoni

The food prepared provides an amazing choice and is so tasty for a buffet style menu. The chef deserves a lot of credit for keeping the customers so happy. The restaurant staff: the two young men who work in the restaurant provide an excellent level of service to everyone. The manager is very professional and good at his job, but it would be nice if he smiled sometimes. Reception staff: Both the hotel manager and the young girl behind the desk, are always smiling, helpful, happy and polite. The hotel manager looks like Justin Timberlake Hotel cleaners: rooms were cleaned every morning and again in the evening whilst we were having dinner. Hotel is spotless throughout. Location: You need to take the local Ski bus to the lift stations each day. You cannot ski back to the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop and it’s only a five minutes walk into town. The rooms: once you get over the shock of the colour schemes within the rooms, they are basic yet comfortable. Having a red bedspread with blue curtains and green carpet along with a brown bathroom doesn’t work. Bar: Basically non-existent. Conclusion: taking everything into consideration, I would recommend staying at the hotel. Just get over the fact that the hotel colour scheme needs updating, although rooms are comfortable. The owner owns 19 hotels, I hope he spends money on his other hotels and I suppose if he’s occupancy levels are good why spend money on the hotel?

I had a disappointing stay at Hotel Majoni. The rooms are outdated and in need of renovation. The dinner options were limited, and the food quality was subpar. To make matters worse, the staff was not particularly friendly or accommodating. Overall, this is not a 4 star hotel. If you're looking for a pleasant stay in Cortina, you might want to consider other options.

I stayed at the "Grand hotel Majoni" as we ironically renamed it for 3 nights in July 2025. I don't usually write reviews if all goes well but this is far from the case. I stayed with a friend who had a pet. This is NOT a pet friendly establishment as advertised. You are not allowed to eat in the restaurant with your pet. You are not allowed to eat on the terrace (which was closed all the time for unknown reasons) either. You can only eat in your room...and they charged us 15 euros to bring up the food upstairs after we argued it was nonsensical..and they had agreed themselves it was not proper. My friend was overcharged for her dog. The manager is rude and we don't know why he tried to make our stay so unpleasant. It only takes kindness. He also gave us wrong information when we asked about hiking up in the mountains. He didn't know we had to book the carpark, he didn't know there was a shuttle... The food is sad and so are the rooms. The management needs to terminate this person. You could tell he was playing power games with his young staff. Please avoid until there is a new manager. You can take the old fashioned rooms, the not-so-great food, but not that kind of attitude...
