Hotel Makaabá Eco Boutique

I didn’t stay but came to eat dinner by the pool and IT WAS AMAZING!!! The sweet cheese tortilla frita was amazing, pulpo tostado, y bebidas! The vibe is so nice and we loveeee it. David/ Erik was the best sever with wonderful recommendations and even played my friends favorite song for her!!! Come check it out!

Wow! A bit more than we usually pay and delivered a lot more than expected. We were only able to stay one night and would have loved an extra night, but they were fully booked. The room was lovely, the private patio was lovely, and the pool area was just as the photos show - although there is some construction going on. Breakfast was incredible, and the wifi was strong. Parking was street side and not secure, but it's a safe town, there are security cameras, and the restaurant is raised & overlooking the parking.

Avoid tiny rooms at all costs they are extremely small, the stairs are very dangerously built. The ac cools down the bottom of the room but not the bed unless you put it on very cold. No wifi in the rooms!!! The font desk attendant was very rude and essentially told me I was lying - took me to share screenshots of unavailable wifi to hear from her. Barely a smile from her, it looks like she HATES her job and people in general. The other front desk attendant from the UK is delightful and so kind. Finally huge construction on the hotel nearby - the pool background is just huge tarps it s gross - they could have at least done something pretty. Good value for money.
