We loved our stay at Hotel Mamiani Urbino It was very close to the lovely adriatic coast of Pesaro (Valluloga) and just far enough away from Urbino proper to find complete tranquillity. The spa also infused us with serenity. Oh ... The pizza in the restaurant was fabulous... Highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Urbino and vicinity
For a European hotel, the room was gigantic! This hotel feels like a spa for locals more than for tourists. We have only seen locals in the restaurant, which is always a great sign that you are eating in the right place. The Urbino center is about a 40 minute walk, or a 10 minute cab ride, but the valley view is worth the distance. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! The spa is amazing, and the attached restaurant is fantastic too!
