I waited to write this review because if I did it while I was at the hotel I would have given it one star. I gave it three stars because it really is at best a 3 star and likely a two star hotel. There were many things that we loved, the location, the size of the room and the balcony, the pool, and overall feel of the property. But there was much to dislike, for example the last time I had a liquid soap dispenser for one product that was supposed to be shampoo and bath gel I was staying at a two star airport hotel. And the policy of changing the beach towels only after three days is unacceptable. And in Italy to have machine dispensed coffee which was awful was unreal. Same with the orange juice, watered down frozen juice. Terrible fruit at the end of August when fruit at the stores is amazing, they really have to look to find tasteless fruit. Air conditioning has one setting, frigid, while the fridge was at best seventy degrees Fahrenheit and after complaining every day for five days were told that they could not do anything about it. If you are serious about booking this hotel, understand that you may be seriously disappointed. As I said, the pool is nice, room was clean but it is not a friendly place. And you will need a car to get around as the train stops running after seven thirty. Also, the gate to drive in is always closed and you have to call from a box outside for them to open it, a real pain. Parking is free and plentiful, the front desk staff is useless but the breakfast staff is wonderful as was the lifeguard.

This is a nice hotel with large, well equipped and clean rooms. Little pool for children. Breakfast choices are fine, staff is friendly and helpful. The beach is near with reserved sun-beds for the hotel guests. Well located yet calm place. Music in the evening. The price and quality ration however is not great. We have paid EUR 350 per night for the room from the 3rd day of our stay, whereby the first 2 days were reserved at EUR 220 rate. EUR 220 was a fair September rate, EUR 350 overpriced. We stayed with a bitter feeling, specially when we have seen that Italian guests had similar rooms at lower rates and many rooms were empty. We felt charging higher rates was not honest.

I do not recommend this hotel. Starting with the reception staff who are totally unsatisfactory and unfriendly to the hotel rooms that smell of mold and old that you can't breathe. The same food every day for 7 days we couldn't eat it anymore. Although we had breakfast included we chose to eat elsewhere. At dinner in the evening you couldn't sit at the table because of the wasps that were constantly on your table and food. Everything old and the smell was ugly. When you say Sardinia you have higher expectations but here I wouldn't even give two stars to this hotel. The receptionist Rosa is a disgusting woman. :)) The worst experience at this hotel.
