We love Mari Pop! Just spend here 4 nights and definitely gonna come back. The room was a little bit crowded for us with two kids but their sofa was pretty comfortable and they spent a lot of time in playing room and the inside pool. The cuisine was very good, all the workers were really warm and friendly. See you next year

Stunning view from room. Enjoyed the sauna and the cold pool. Initially booked breakfast only but ended up eating every dinner because the food was amazing. Three course at €30 is definitely worth it. Free popcorn and play area for kids.

Nice modern hotel with a focus on regional and vegetarian/vegan fare, which is not common in the Alps especially at this price point. The Green Rate for guests who travel to the hotel by public transit is really great and the train station is 5 minutes away. However, if you want to go anywhere else in Zillertal beyond Mayrhofen, it gets quite tricky (and expensive!) without a car. But that's outside the control of the hotel. The nearest ski lift is 1 train station away, the others are all further out. To go for a hike you'll also need to travel to the starting point first. The food was good and creative, I especially loved the afternoon snack which was really quite a spread with bread, cakes, salad, and even a warm dish. The breakfast was great and the ingredients high quality. One minus point is that I indicated a dietary restriction for dinner on the signup card, which was overlooked. The waiter kindly offered to fix it but I didn't want to let the dish go to waste. Also, breakfast starting only at 7:30 is quite late especially for hikers/skiers, but in the shoulder season it didn't really pose a problem. The room in the guest house was very small, no issue for 1 person but for 2, for multiple nights perhaps it'd be too tight... Great rainshower though with water pressure unlike anything I've ever seen before. There's a small upstairs sauna area with a gorgeous view. It's a beautiful ambiance but unfortunately quickly became difficult to really relax as there's only 4 loungers in the tiny rest area (and 3 chairs), but there were easily over 10 people swarming around for a spot to become free, as there was nowhere else to rest in between sauna rounds. There's a heated indoor and unheated outdoor pool downstairs, with a steam cabin (barely any steam) and another sauna (not hot). The ambience and view there is lacking, but it was less cramped.
