Nice hotel in a great location close to the beach and many good places to eat. Rooms were clean with comfortable bed and great view. The gym and spa are well equipped. The hotel itself was lacking a bit of atmosphere when we stayed. If you are travelling to relax and lay by a pool, I would not recommend this hotel - the pool area, although nice, is small with limited loungers. We stayed for four days and did not get to lay by the pool once as it was so busy. Overall, a nice hotel.
The infrastructure is good, clean, and beautiful—nothing to say about that. However, I found the welcome and the staff’s friendliness not up to standard. We ate several times at the restaurant downstairs, and even though it was empty, the service was not great. Also, in my opinion, tips should be given based on the service and only if the clients wish to do so. Yet, at the pool, when I paid, I was asked if it was “ok” when they gave me the change—basically asking to keep it. The service just wasn’t good enough to deserve tips. We constantly felt like we were disturbing them. The lady from the welness spa was the only really nice, and attentive person we met during our stay. Would have been nice if all the staff from the hotel was like her.
The welcome upon arrival was far from satisfactory, and the air conditioning unit in the room had a malfunctioning control. When I reached out to the reception for assistance, the staff member was unhelpful and abruptly ended the call, just thirty minutes after check-in. I attempted to address the issue in person, but no one was available to speak with me. The hotel's remote location offered little in terms of activities, with the metro station a fifteen-minute walk to the city center. On a positive note, the cleanliness of the room was commendable. However, when I requested two teaspoons, I was informed that there would be an additional charge, which is unusual for a hotel. Given these experiences, I would not consider staying here again.
