Hotel Marten Ski In & Ski Out

Visited Hotel Marten late July 2022. We stayed in the Junior suite, 3 persons for 7 days. We booked the room directly via Marten.at we chose the hotel filtering pets allowed, and the pool Prior to arrival, the hotel followed up and made sure we were all set for arrival, offering pre booking of bikes, and other activities during the stay. Once arrived, we were greeted by the receptionist Claudia who’s fluent in english. She explained the joker card advantages (a must) the card gives you free access to all the open lifts in the area. Beautiful clean room with a balcony overlooking the valley. pool and spa area, with sauna and steam room Half board offered a delicious breakfast buffet and chef made fresh omelettes.Dinner was a free selection of three dishes combining the traditional Austrian kitchen, with more modern. Don’t miss their local cheeses The hotel also offered a playground with basketball court, swings and a slack line. The hostess Juliane offer's weekly breakfast hikes (summer and weather depending)to their Alm 1350 location approximately 50 min uphill. Don’t miss it.

Small family hotel "where everybody knows your name". As a guest, you're not one among many, but you feel special because staff knows who you are. Everybody is very friendly and making sure that you have a pleasant stay. Beautiful views of the valley and mountains from every room and dinning hall. Hotel includes small outdoors pool and spa area with sauna and steam bath that feels very good after long day of outdoors activities. Massage available, but better book in advance. Nice outdoor playground for kids.

Quaint hotel a short drive from Saalbach/Hinterglemm village centers, which was great because there was a big mountain bike festival in Hinterglemm while we were there and it was great to escape that. Our room was large and lovely. It was very quiet, which we welcomed after staying in loud places leading up to our time in Hinterglemm. There was a miscommunication though about the room at checkin. We asked if there were quieter options available and the receptionist kindly switched our room. However, she didn't tell us that it'd be a different rate. The receptionist at checkout met us in the middle on this, which we really appreciated, but next time, the hotel should consider being clear about things like this. Good breakfast spread, though our second morning, the flies inside the dining area were unbearable. The hotel should consider setting fly traps or something...
