Hotel Martin

Staying at this hotel was one of the highlights of my trip to Istanbul. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the rooms were beautifully maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is also ideal — close to many of the city’s main attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. I truly felt at home during my stay. I’m grateful for the unforgettable experience and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Worst experience ever. Everything was bad: location is noisy, rooms are dirty and not clean, soundproof is zero . Only the receptionist guy was good, he was friendly and helpful.

SCAM Alert – Hotel Martin in Istanbul Is a Total Rip-Off! I booked this hotel through Booking.com because it had a surprisingly high rating of 8.1 — but that rating is completely misleading and does not reflect the reality. When I arrived, the receptionist pretended not to understand English — yet suspiciously understood everything I said. Then they demanded additional money on top of what I had already paid. When I refused, they took us to a disgustingly dirty room. The bathroom had actual fecal stains in the toilet. It was absolutely revolting and completely unhygienic. To make things even worse, although I physically checked in, the hotel marked my reservation as a "no-show" on Booking.com. This sneaky trick was clearly meant to block me from leaving a review and avoid responsibility. I reported the situation to Booking.com, but they took no action whatsoever. It’s shocking and disappointing that such scams are tolerated on their platform. Avoid Hotel Martin at all costs, and be cautious when trusting ratings on Booking.com — they might not protect you when things go wrong.
