Hotel Mastay Jingumichi

Absolutely exceptional! The room was amazing, there was a water bottle for each person for each day. It is like an apartment, very spacious and light music in the hallway (when you get out of the room). No keys, which you could use, but a code for the door. The location is amazing, you can reach gion by foot and the subway is very close. And the staff! The staff was so friendly all the time, we really enjoyed it here. If we ever come back to Kyoto, we would definitely book this hotel.

For a family of 4, the suite was really nice. Modern looking and comfortable. Have two toilets, but only 1 shower. However, the shower was really nice. They provided good recommendations for breakfast in the area. Provided water bottles which was a nice touch, plus a coffee machine and other amenities. Lawson's right next store was visited often!

I had an amazing time at this place last year in August. The laundry amenities in-room were CRUCIAL for traveling with limited outfits in the heat and humidity. The rooms were clean, and the kitchen features (induction burner, fridge/freezer, pans and plates) were just we needed for quiet lowkey meals in between our big events. the hotel pajamas were super cut and comfy too. The staff was also very accommodating when we had some special circumstances at check-in! location super convenient, pretty much right upstairs from a lawson konbini. short walk to train stations also crucial. 100 stars!
