Hotel Master

Location is very good, close to the castle it is possible to walk to the historical Center of Brescia - about 10min. It has also an own parking place. It is absolutely ok for one night. You can though see that the facility is not the newest. Worn out parts on door frames/furniture or walls. Some interventions would definitely make it a great hotel.

I searched by Agoda for accommodation near the city center in Brescia by filtering for facilities with a swimming pool and fitness center. Master Hotel came up. Chek-in time, I asked again what hours the pool was available. It was quite surprising that you have to pay to use the pool. It costs 35 euros for adult. Is this a misunderstanding? Agoda didn't provide detailed information about the pool, or the hotel simply didn't provide complete information? When I asked why I had to pay, the customer service representative simply said it was "private." Another staff member replied, "It's a paid facility." This was surprising, as I've never paid for a swimming pool facility in a 4-star or 5-star hotel 🤷🏽‍♀️ ~ The room was cold, with no blankets. I found a blanket in the closet but no sheets, and no bottled mineral water. ~ 🏋🏻‍♀️ The fitness center was good enough for warming up before continuing exploring the city. ~ 🍽️ Breakfast was very standard for a four-star hotel. ~ 🚶🏻‍♀️The location is about a 20-minute walk to the city center.

I spent two night in the wellness suite of this hotel with my boyfriend. For the price I paid for the accomodation, the quality of the so called suite wellness was far from being a suite. As the photos attached in the review, the quality of the room was terrible for a suite. The limestone in the bath tub’s tap or in the shower, the dust in the nightstand, yellow toilet brush, ruined sinks, curtains and wall and would in the bathroom. I asked for a partial refund since the suite was a suite just for the jacuzzi and the sauna, but they just provided a sorry voucher of 40% claiming that above the dust and limestone the other points were not a discomfort for the accomadation. It would have not been a discomfort if the price paid for a suite was adjusted for the room quality. A very disappointing journey.
