Hotel Matsushima Taikanso

Thanks for upgrading us to a room with Ocean View! Stunning! My old parents enjoyed so much! Delicious buffet dinner & breakfast. Fantastic view from the open onsen!

The hotel itself wonderful and located on the great location. The room (Japanese western room) also clean and full of useful functions. Staff are kind and polite. For public bathroom also have a great facilities and equiped with open-air bath together with panoramic view which made me feel claim and relax. Dinner at seafood cuisine is fabulous as well which is full of sushi sashimi and seafood which you can find delicious and local foods here. You can spend time with your beloved family with enjoyable. Especially thanks to Suzuki-San (Sushi chef at sushi corner who wear his kind glasses) for always provide proactively and great service with high customer care. He made big memorable meal and provide wonderful Maguro and Engawa sushi for my family which was made my day. Thank you so much 🙏 Once we come back to Matsushima again. This hotel and seafood restaurant will surely be the first choice for our family. Thank you so much all kind staffs 🙏

really enjoyed my stay and was kind of sad i only booked one night here...there's a shuttle bus from the train station (which is good because the hotel is on the top of a winding hill) and the service throughout was extremely attentive from check in to meal times and even afterwards when i needed to book a taxi. room was extremely huge and spacious with a gorgeous sea view. the hotel as a whole is also very big so it never really felt too crowded. would highly recommend staying here!
