Fantastic stay! The hotel is spotless, modern, and recently updated—everything felt fresh and well cared for. What really stood out, though, was the service. Lauren at the front desk went above and beyond—warm, helpful, and genuinely kind. She’s a total gem, and her authenticity really shines through. I hope the hotel knows what a star they have in her.
The Maverick hotel was perfect for our quick weekend away. The hotel is very modern and the rooms are up to date. Bathroom/shower was exactly what I was hoping. The room had a Keurig & a mini fridge as well. I loved the little balcony right off the room. The staff were all very friendly and loved visiting the Devil’s Kitchen and the coffee shop downstairs. Free popcorn in the lobby too! I love that this hotel is ran by the hospitality students at Mesa. It adds a nice touch. We enjoyed the hot tub out front as well, it’s a large hot tub! The hotel is right on campus if you’re visiting students, we weren’t but it was a quick drive to anywhere we needed to be. The outside is very well maintained also. Highly recommend for your out of town stay into Grand Junction.
Beautiful hotel, parking is convenient and very clean and aesthetically appealing. Great outdoor space especially if you have children Lots of room outdoors to run around and the restaurant looks beautiful only rated a 4 instead of a 5 because there isn’t a pool at the hotel itself and that was one big reason for booking this hotel is assuming it had a pool like all other hotels at this price range, kids were bummed that there is only a hot tub and it’s too hot here in gj to be in a hot tub 95% of our stay. Although there is a pool somewhere on campus but definitely not convenient to do with several young kids as a solo parent!
