we stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel with beautiful mountain view. very good breakfast/food options for vegetarians. lots of variety of food on breakfast table. Staff is always smiling and happy to help. Rooms are spacious enough and clean. We loved the fresh french fries, Veggie Pizza. and view to remember for life
The beautiful view of the snow capped and green mountains from the room (only front view facing Gergeti mountains) cannot be expressed in words but can only be experienced in person. The hotel has a deck on the ground floor and on the third floor which makes a perfect place in the summer months to sit and relax and enjoy the view of the mountains. Food is just great and the best in town. Overall we had a memorable trip and look forward to visit again but next visit will be definitely in winter months.
There is a lot to like about this hotel. The restaurant staff and food were excellent. The location and view were great, The price was ok, competitive for the area. It is walkable from town, yet quiet and embedded into the local community with kids at play, and locals, cows, horses and dogs passing by. Super cute husky lives at the end of the lane, cows behind the property. A few negatives worth noting: - room wasn't as clean as I prefer. There was an envelope from prior guest communication on the floor bedside when we checked in. - the lights on the patio are globe shaped, so they cast light in all directions when on, lighting up the room, and impairing sleep and night time views of the mountains. Also no shade umbrellas to make the patio useful for more of the day. - the bathroom had a bad odor from the plumbing. When lots of people were using water (morning or evening showers) no smell. We kept the bath door shut and the thermostat fan running and the smell stayed in the bathroom. We liked it enough I'd probably stay there again, but I'd also bring a scented candle or something for the bath.... Bonus insight: get up to the rooftop level for quiet and best views. There is a pool table on the 3rd floor too.
