Hotel Mentana by R Collection Hotels

I have no complaints about Hotel Mentana! However, I only stayed there for one night, and I did not purchase their breakfast. My room was tiny, but for a solo traveler, it absolutely did the trick, so I was not bothered by its size. The walls were a little thin though, I could hear all my neighbors. Clean bathroom. Good shower. Clean sheets. Great location. Nice staff. Would go back!

Charming hotel in an excellent location, 10 minutes from the historic center and Piazza del Duomo. Extremely friendly staff, both day and night receptionists, as well as the luggage handler. We were offered a free early check-in. The room we rented, the Suite with terrace, is spacious and bright. However, we noted a few things that needed to be improved : the coffee machine was very difficult to use. The hot water in the shower takes a long time to arrive. The heating turns off at any time, and the room is sometimes very cold. The dental kit contains no toothpaste, only a toothbrush. The shower seal is loose, causing a small leak every time you shower. These are small details that we consider important considering the price (almost 900 euros for two nights). But overall the stay was very pleasant and we recommend this hotel.

Hotel well located and central. Super friendly and helpful reception staff. Management team, not so much... Construction work at the hotel and they did not notify us of any type of issues or restrictions. Around 7:30 am / 8:00 am the construction workers were already working. Hammering could be heard and a drill was working intensely. Taking a shower was an adventure! Dirty bath water, no pressure and I ran out of water before I finished showering. The breakfast was normal and nothing exceptional. Sorry to be honest, but it may have been an unusual situation and I may have been very unlucky, but the room was overpriced for the “quality” of the experience.
