Hotel Mercure Graz City

A comfortable hotel. I slept well for each of 5 nights. Enjoyable buffet breakfast. I loved the scrambled eggs! Helpful, friendly staff across all departments. Location is good for the old town with Lend district on the doorstep. I walked from the railway station (about 20 minutes with baggage).

Arrived by car in Graz and it took a little bit of searching to find the entrance to the parking garage. But once I found it and car was stored away I was greeted friendly by the staff and check-in was no problem. Room was clean and spacious and everything was working well. Bathroom was nice and it looked clean to me :). I used the fitness and sauna area and for just a short relaxing time it is sufficient. The best though is the location as you can easily walk up to the top of the Schlossberg or into old down-town area where you find shops and Restaurants. All in all it was a good stay at this Hotel and I will make sure to return when in Graz again.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. Our Privilege room was particularly spacious, and the couch had already been prepared for our daughter upon arrival. The staff was very welcoming—the check-in process was quick and informative, and one of the receptionists went the extra mile by offering a small gift to our daughter, which made her very happy. The location is excellent—close to Mariahilferstraße, where you’ll find plenty of bars, pubs, and cafés, and within walking distance of the Old Town and Schlossberg. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choices available.
