Our stay at the hotel was a mix of good and bad experiences. Unfortunately, the rooms did not match the photos. They were a bit smelly and slightly dirty, and the furnishings seemed outdated. The bathroom was also nothing special, and the toilet had an unpleasant odor. However, the view from the room was absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect – just a 3-minute walk to the beach and close to shops. The elevators were outdated, and check-in took quite a long time, which was a bit frustrating. Communication was sometimes an issue, as not everyone at the reception spoke English fluently. The hotel’s program didn’t impress us much, but the pool area was fantastic, with plenty of lounge chairs and space for relaxation. The gym was also great, well-equipped, and fully functional. The bar was excellent, with a wide range of drinks to choose from. The highlight of our stay was definitely the food. The variety and quality were outstanding – everything we had was delicious. In fact, the food was the best thing about the hotel. Overall, I wouldn’t rate this hotel as a 4-star property. It’s more like a solid 3-star in my opinion. It really needs a renovation, but the food, pool, view, and location really made up for the shortcomings. The staff was always friendly and helpful, although some of them didn’t speak much English. In conclusion, it wasn’t the worst experience, and we enjoyed our stay. There is a lot of to improve, but it was still a pleasant vacation overall.

My review of the hotel in Santa Susanna - Spain I stayed at this hotel for one week - here’s my honest opinion. - Location: Perfect location - just 1 minute from the train station. There’s a mini market nearby, and supermarkets are about 10-15 minutes on foot. The beach is only 5 minutes away. - Staff: All the staff were very friendly - always smiling and greeting guests. From reception to cleaning staff - everyone was helpful. - Cleanliness: Our room was clean - no spider webs or dust. Cleaning staff did a great job. The restaurant was also kept tidy - tables were cleaned quickly. - Food (mixed opinion): You won’t go hungry. Fruits were sweet - melons, kiwis, oranges, apples, pears, sometimes watermelon and grapefruit. Desserts were tasty and varied. Meat dishes were often tasteless and sometimes undercooked. Bacon was okay. Eggs or omelets were served for breakfast - some salted, some not. At lunch and dinner - there was always fish (once salmon), meat, sausages, vegetables, pasta, pizza, etc. Morning coffee drinks (like cappuccino) tasted like Nesquik - not real coffee. Juices were watery. At lunch and dinner - only water available (once even no water). You could buy drinks at the bar. - Room: We stayed in a triple room. There was a TV and hairdryer - but the TV didn’t work, and the safe was just an old metal box. The decor was boring - two identical pictures above the beds. No iron, no kettle, no fridge, no glasses. Beds were like couches with mattresses - but comfy. Bathroom had soap, shampoo, and gel. Old taps and shower - very strong pressure, but it worked fine. There was also a bidet. Paint job looked rushed - uneven and with paint drops. Old air conditioning system - didn’t help much. - Pool: Two pools - one very small for kids, one regular (up to 2.10 meters deep). Not heated. Enough loungers available. - Entertainment: There was a board with daily activities - bingo, quizzes, bowling - but nothing actually happened. Reception didn’t know what was going on. In the bar - only two pool tables (2 euros per game) and some prize machines. - Other details: Though recently renovated - some broken tiles were still visible. On floor -1 by the elevator - everything was dusty and full of cobwebs. Screens in elevators showed info and weather - but not always working. - Final verdict: Sadly - I can’t recommend this hotel. I suggest considering other options in Santa Susanna. Feels like a 3-star hotel at best - just my personal opinion. Thanks for reading - hope this review helps someone.

⭐️ 1 Star – The Worst 4-Star Hotel I’ve Ever Stayed In This was by far the worst 4-star hotel I’ve ever been to. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting — dirty and clearly not cleaned properly before my arrival on a Friday. I immediately asked for it to be cleaned, and they said someone would come, but no one ever showed up. The room itself felt extremely cheap, not at all what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. Even the hair dryer didn’t work. I had planned to stay until Monday, but the conditions were so bad I left a day early on Sunday — I simply couldn’t take it anymore. When I asked for a refund for the night I didn’t stay, they refused. Instead, they offered me a ridiculous “compensation” of one euro to cover the booking tax. That felt like an insult, and of course I refused. Avoid this place. It’s a complete disappointment and nowhere near the standards it claims to have.
