Hotel Meteor Plaza Prague

A clean hotel with a warm atmosphere in the center of the city. Minutes from the main square, Palladium Mall and Vaclav Boulevard. Even before we arrived, the hotel staff answered our questions by email and did everything they could to help and make our stay the best it could be. The spa in the hotel is pampering and wonderful. Thanks to the restaurant staff who were attentive to our requests at breakfast. Thanks to Wanda Nováková, for exceptional service. A highly recommended hotel, there is no doubt that the next time we come to Prague, we will stay there again.

First on all, great service. Good employees that offer good advice and information. It includes breakfast, spa and a self service bar whenever you want something extra late at night. The rooms are still somewhat old but still renovated, the bathrooms are new and has warm water. The hotel is near the old city square and is right in front of the Powder Tower and the Palladium shopping mall. Offers at hotel transportation around the city and outside the city. Now the flaws are that the hallways are very long. It depends on which room you get, it can be close to the elevator & stairs or it can be very far away with endless corridors and stairs. When you leave your phone to charge it takes a very long time to reach a 100%. And lastly the breakfast food is a little bit bland, small plates and no big plates for when you want more food. But other than these flaws everything else was great!! Would recommend to first timers in Prague!!

The experiences at Meteor Plaza hotel were not that pleasant: do not expect something nice and special. (Breakfast is spectacular tho) a, first of all the heaters in the room didn’t work. The one by the window was barely warm, and thermostat controller for the ceiling one did nothing at all when we pressed button. And when I asked the reception about this, they told us ‘they don’t know’ and that they will bring the portable one (which did work, but didn’t do much to heat up the whole room though) b, we asked for a three-bed room via reservation site, but when we checked in, there were none. That i can understand, but the reception checked out that they have a three-bed room the day after (we stayed for two nights), so he told us to pack up our luagges in the morning, store them at the lobby, and move into a different room in the evening. So we did pack up everything, but only to find out that there are no room to move into, around 10 A.M.!!!!! It was REALLY FRUSTRATING, you know? it would’ve been nice to let us know that they do not have the room anymore and that we do not have to pack anymore(,which is decent thing to do from the hotel’s end.) c, to be frank, this one is guilty of our end. But by the time this problem was addressed, we were really frustrated from lots of things, so frankly we just thought it was the consent socket hall’s problem or somthing. We used our traveler's adaptor, but it didn’t WORK AT ALL, so we just used the 220v charger. By now, i understand that we should’ve addressed the problem right then. So 220v being plugged into 230v didn’t do good, and the power got out. But it would've been nice to put up a sign or something about this matter, because the hotel told us like, we should know better than this. Which i do understand that we caused this problem, but we’re tourists, so it’s possible not knowing to the fullest, you know? So,, the city was very beautiful, but the hotel was kind of disappointing. Breakfasts were perfect, tho (특히 한국인들은 별로 안좋아할 것 같아요;;; 방이 춥습니다,,, 껴입고 자야해요ㅠ)
